(It is no use crying over split milk)

In the time of Hellenism, there was Alexandros, a great ruler in western Asia. He was a very strict person, and never forgave anyone for their faults. He lived in a splendid palace with gorgeous interior decorations. There were about 100 maids. They all did their jobs faithfully, but Emily
Henderson was different from the others. While the others did only their required duties, she did more than that. She was obedient, calm, stable, and liked by the king; therefore she became the object of jealously for the other maids.
One day, she was required to bring a cup of milk to the king's bedroom. She immediately brought it, but no one was there. She decided to put the milk on a side-table, but on beggining to walk, she stumbled and split the milk on the red silky carpet! "Oh, my God!!" she shouted. She was very upset. "Oh, how angry the king will be, if he notices this!"She thought. The carpet got stained, so she moved a wing-chair above the stain to hide it, and left there with haste. It seemed everything was going well, but unfortunately, one of the maids
witnessed everything she did and she finked to the king. As soon
as he heard the news about Emily from her, he got very angry. He said to the maid "Do you know what the meaniest act in the world is? It's finking, and you did it!" It goes without saying that the maid was fired.
