Statistics on Owning a house or
condominium in Japan
In Japan, the regular cost of a free standing home is about
50 million to 150 million yen.
An average years of a loan is about 30 years. It can go through generation to
generation.
This is a feature of Japanese house loaning system.
The reason that a free standing home and the land underneath
are purchased seperately is because Japan is a very small country but the population is
large.
Concretely it's because of it isn't seperated, everyone can
build big houses if they pay money only for free standing home.
Now, Japanese houses are built very high rather than building
it widely. It's because people are trying to make the land underneath smaler and save
money. In fact, Japan doesn't have enough land for everyone to have a big house. So
they can't help makeing lands smaller to build tall houses.
